Comments: Many years of professional ballet performance, teaching ballet and fitness and finally osteoarthritis, I was in need of a Total Hip Replacement. I found Dr. Roy Davidovitch on line as I was looking specifically for a surgeon who had success with patients with my movement history and who performed an Anterior Total Hip Replacement, which I understood would bode well for a quicker recovery. I left the hospital walking on crutches 4 hours after my surgery and began therapy on-line prescribed by Dr. Davidovitch the next day. I also appreciated that I was able to manage my pain with only Tylenol and Ibuprofen for the initial weeks. His recommendation to use a Game Ready Ice Machine 3X/day was also very helpful in reducing pain and speeding up recovery. My therapy program was updated on line on a schedule and I was able to speak to the nurse practitioner anytime I had questions or concerns. Dr. Davidovitch checked in with me personally through the website and virtual video calls. I started teaching Pilates again 3 months after my surgery and at 1 year, I believe my hip is perfect!
